Buying pirated movies and fake brands is the same as stealing . Do you agree or disagree with this statement ?

Positive :

1）   Buying fake items should be considered stealing? Intellectual Property Rights

2） It is immoral and at the same time illegal to sell and purchase fake items

3） People are buying fake brands in order to "show off".

4）  buying authentic means 3 things: quality, excellent after-sales                          service and prestige

Negative :

1）              If people CANNOT afford something and they still buy it... WHO CARES? It's an individual choice. Let them suffer or enjoy the consequences of their actions. By playing "moral super cop" to these people, busybodies are just exposing their own mental/attitudinal issues. Live and let live.

2）              There are many people who would buy these goods just to show off. What is wrong with showing off? Well, nothing, except this mentality that only people who buy authentic goods have the right to show off and they would look down on people who can afford only fake goods. They think they are better than people who cannot afford expensive goods. What is wrong with that mentality?

   3)      Because people don't buy goods for their quality, but for the brand name
